Refunds and cancellation
You can cancel online at any time. These refunds are in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Cancelling
Cancel in your account at any time. Your licence runs to the end of the month you have paid for, and it does not renew. When it ends, Beesley Energy tries to send neutral settings, then stops making changes. Some equipment may keep the last setting it was given.
When you get a refund
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| Your free first month | Nothing to refund: nothing is charged during the free month. If you start it in the app, no card is needed. If you subscribe on the website, you're not charged until your free month ends, and if you cancel before then you are not charged. After that, the 30-day full refund runs from your first payment. |
| You ask within 30 days of your first payment, for any reason | The full amount |
| You have already paid (for example after a reinstall, or when new terms appear) and you do not accept the terms in the setup wizard | The full amount within 5 business days, whether or not you used it. Press Request refund on that screen. |
| We change the terms or Beesley Energy in a way that is materially worse for you, and you cancel | The unused part of your current month |
| An integration or service you rely on stops working and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time | The unused part of your current month |
| We end your licence and it is not your fault | The unused part of your current month |
Price changes
We give at least 30 days' notice of a price rise by email. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it starts without penalty.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If this is not done you are entitled to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund for the unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
See clause 7 of the terms.
